F1 2008 PREVIEW SHOW

Formula 1 prepares to roar back into action in just over a week’s time in Australia, with what promises to be another action-packed season.

So to get you revved up for a cracking new year, ITV Sport is kicking off its coverage of the 2008 campaign with our traditional preview show, this Sunday from 11.10am on ITV1.

The hour-long programme, presented by Steve Rider with analysis from Martin Brundle, will fill you in on the form heading to Melbourne with exclusive interviews with some of the star names in the sport.

We will also bring you up to date with all the details of the year’s two new exciting races on the streets of Valencia and Singapore.

Show highlights include:

- Louise Goodman reports on Ferrari and McLaren's pre-season preparations and talks to the drivers, including world champion Kimi Raikkonen.

- Lewis Hamilton talks exclusively to Steve Rider about his preparations and hopes for his second F1 season.

- Ted Kravitz looks at Fernando Alonso's return to Renault, Nelson Piquet's arrival and the team's pre-season pace.

- Louise travels to Valencia to look at the preparations for August's race, while Martin visits Singapore to check up on developments for the night race and gives his thoughts on both new circuits.

- Ted brings us the latest on BMW's and Williams' 2008 preparations.

- An exclusive interview with new Honda team boss Ross Brawn at the start of the biggest challenge of his career.

- A look at the rule changes for 2008 and the drivers’ thoughts on the challenges posed.

- A preview of all the other teams on the grid.

- We go out to Italy to join the Ferrari team on their annual pre season ski event.

It’s a jam-packed show that will get you right up to speed in time for the first race, so make sure you tune into ITV1 at 11:10-12:10 on Sunday 9th March.

will be watching out of desperation to see f1 cars

Can't wait syndrome? :P

In order to keep myself occupied, I've been watching past seasons throughout the off-season. I'm up to Monaco '99 now. I'll probably just get to the end of the season by the time we reach Melbourne. :)

But I'll definitely be watching this on Sunday. I'm keen to see the circuits at Singapore and Valencia, even if only in brief, and I also want to hear any pre-season predictions Mr. Brundle may have. He's always an interesting fellow to listen to and I like that his opinions are knowledgeable.

Sounds good that!

They missed off 'Exclusive interview with Anthony Hamilton' though. Must just be some kind of error I presume.

I normally spend the off-season lying in a fetal position waiting for the lights to go out in Melbourne...

I thought I was the only one who felt like this  !
