With the Melbourne GP less than a month away the excitement is starting to build. I cannot wait as I am sure most people on this forum cannot wait either. My predictions of race order finish. First race meaning top runners will not change much from 2007.

Order of finish.

1st. Raikkonen (Ferrari)
2nd. Massa (Ferrari)
3rd. Hamilton (McLaren)
4th. Alonso (Renault)
5th. ?????? (Perhaps one of the BMW-Sauber drivers or the Williams drivers)
6th, 7th and 8th. (Again a mixture of BMW-Sauber and Williams cars)

DNF. Kovalanien (McLaren) I think one way or another he wont finish. Don't know why but I think it wil happen to him in the first race.

I guess I'll be partying hard after Ferrari's first triumph in Melbourne for 2008.

After the race Hamilton will be seeing red, Ferrari red. "The names Ferrari, never forget it" is what he'll be reminded of. hahahaha.

Lygon Street Melbourne will hopefully go nuts with Ferrari tifosi like most years.

My predictions differ somewhat.

1 - Raikkonen
2 - Hamilton
3 - Massa
4 - Heidfeld
5 - Kovalainen
6 - Kubica
7 - Alonso
8 - Rosberg
9 - Webber
10 - Coulthard
11 - Nakajima
12 - Piquet Jr.
13 - Vettel
14 - Button
15 - Glock
16 - Barichello
17 - Bourdais
18 - Trulli
19 - Fisichella (DNF)
20 - Sutil (DNF)
21 - Davidson (DNF)
22 - Sato (DNF)

But after a few races we will see a lot of teams like Williams and Red Bull finishing a lot higher in the standings, which will make for a rather interesting season indeed.

But anything can happen behind the Ferrari 2. And I admit I'm underestimating Heikki and overestimating Renault... but no one really knows yet. So I guess we will all be 'predicting' again after qualy
