LH got his license suspended for a month for speeding in France.

Hm, I wonder how that works? Is he still allowed to drive in other countries? What license would he use in other countries? (since his is suspended).
And would a super license supersede a national license? :P:wink:

I know, that's why I didn't ask the question you answered. I asked (with a wink) whether a super license would supersede a national driver's license, so he could drive with a super license in France.

super licence would only be recoginsed by the racing body the FIA and not the government.

It would be like trying to drive with a Sprint Kart licence on the road hehe

It really doesn't make any difference. I lost my license many times and drove for years without one.

Well, vegas, remember Paris Hilton's problems because of driving w/o a license? You're bound to end up as somebody's prison bitch :P:twisted::mrgreen:

No way, there is a big difference between guys like me and Hamilton and Paris. We wont make the same mistakes again. I know where all the police like to hide now.

I think half these drivers do it to plug themselves and the cars they are driving.

ohhhh so that's what this is. i was in central london a few days ago and went past this newspaper vendor, and one of the articles stuck to his cart was 'LEWIS HAMILTON LOSES LICENSE.' i assumed it meant super license so when i read it i was terrified, looked all over for a story in the haven of information, the LondonLite. couldn't find it anywhere so i was obviously a bit confused. good to hear it was just his normal license though hehe. weird to think of F1 drivers getting their licenses banned just like normal people

A bit silly for Hamilton to go and get caught speeding, but of course this isn't un-common with F1 drivers.

Yes, just ask Nelson Piquet Snr. :D (And we all know of Schumacher's recent news story)

I believe if you have a racing license you should be allowed to drive twice the speed limit.
