After the tests in Jerez we've got some useful info:
* Ralf won't be offered any contract by FI or any other team at all.
* The machine will be able to fight primary Super Aguri with success.
* Both Fisichella, Liuzzi and Klien are still performing at the racetrack.
* van der Garde and Rodriguez are not competitive enough yet.

This leaves us with the following chances of a seat for 2k8 in percent:
1. Sutil 60 % (he'll probably stay)
2. Klien 40 %
3. Liuzzi 30 %
4. Fisichella 20 %

Even if Fisi outperformed Klien with 8 tenths on day one I don't think the team will find it enough to pay his higher wage. And now Giancarlo has got the boot by Renault so: Bye, bye Fisichella! See you at your mansion in Rome.. Sad but true :'-(

Do you agree? :?:

I don't think money will be much of a problem as Mallya is an extremely rich man and has the resources to pump into the team. Plus if need be, Fisichella will be at the stage of his career now where he'd be considering a pay cut just to stay in F1.

The team will be looking for somebody with plenty of experience to help the team in their battles against Super Aguri and Toro Rosso, and also someone to pass on their experience to Sutil if he is to progress his career.

So on the whole, I think Fisichella's got a good chance. :)

No doubt that Fisico have what it takes when it comes to develope and have the maximum out of a quite ordinary car. Just look at the years in Bentton, Sauber and Jordan (1 GP win). 8)

On Force India's website I observed that he made about twice as many laps as the other drivers.. Maybe that's some kind of a hint for the future? :?:
