Typical tifosi.

As a 'tifosi' I could actually say you should remove the '2007 WCC' implication from your siggy because we all know McLaren did not win it but I would NEVER do such a thing  .

We do honestly need to rid all 'insider's' from the FIA council as it is infair to all other team's.

Did Ferrari rely on extra help to win the 1999 and 2007 constructors' championship? Yes. Therefore, why is Todt complaining about McLaren supposedly trying to win a title off the track? What I have as my signature is absolutely not related to anything. Anyway, continue to defend the hypocritical and the indefensible.

Sorry, no. I've no wish to fall out with anybody here, however, I'm not prepared to let Ferrari fans off the hook with plain, unadulterated hypocrisy. Basically, Ferrari can win using off-track methods but when anybody does so it's bad for the sport, 'desperate', morally wrong etc.

I respect people's views when they're based on facts and logic. It is not logical to say McLaren are wrong for trying to win a title off the track but it's not wrong for Ferrari.

I'm a passionate, long-standing McLaren fan and I'm not afraid to stick the boot into the team if I feel it is underachieving or talking rubbish, so why are you afraid to criticise Ferrari?

Bernie got on UK television, ITV I believe, and said Ferrari is special because they have been around for so long and do everything themselves. Without Ferrari F1 would be boring.

Of course they are going to have a few friends in the FIA.

Todt is right, this was one last desperate attempt by McLaren to bring this sport into further disrepute. I'm not trying to wind anyone up, this is how I feel.

It's McLaren that are the ones that can't keep a lid on it. The season was over, Kimi won fair and square, they should have just let it go and focused there energy on building next years car...

I should have mentioned that because no other team has ever kept this tradition alive for so long.

True and not so true. They have FIAT's backing. And, yes, I know, McLaren are only largely by Mercedes but that's beside the point.

It still does not give Ferrari the right do behave the way they do and for the FIA to treat them differently from the other teams.

I see nobody is still prepared to remark about Todt, Ferrari and the tifosi's hypocrisy.

Yah I'm breaking my word  LOL, I cannot speak for other's, my reasoning is because I dont want this to turn into another 'one sided debate aka Ron Dennis style' and that's the feeling I'm getting from you as of late McLaren Fan. This is strictly my opinion which may be wrong but 'perception is reality' especially on the internet.

FIAT give them the cash they need to compete with car giants like BMW/Mercedes however they still make almost everything at their own factory in Marinello.

It does give them the right to be treated differently.

Take an employee in a company who's been there since day 1, he will get preferential treatment over newcomers, within reason, on certain political issues.

The pitlane is very different to a standard business but you see the point I'm trying to get accross.
