Well he has proved he is still as fast as ever during testing in Barcelona this week. I would like to see Michael Schumacher return to F1. Could he could be answer for Toyota? :?:

I'd like to see him return, he's clearly shown he's still got the pace and now there's lots of great talent in F1 to put him up against. Hamilton vs Schumacher anyone? :D

Schumacher retired rather than face a team mate with equal status

I somehow doubt that, but wasn't there talk that with Raikkonen joining the squad, Schumacher wanted to save Massa's future with the team?

I doubt this also, he's proven over the years he's much quicker then all his team mates. Ferrari wouldn't have met his demands if he wasn't quicker then his team mate, they have ways of knowing who's quicker...

Stephen I think Shumi is going to return, it's only a matter of when.

I think he was tired, needed a break and was probably sick of all the flack he was receiving, a break was good on many levels. I'd give people a chance to miss me as well if I were him.

If I were Ross Brawn and Schumacher I would probably want to prove to the world that they are just as good on their own as well, instead of people thinking they are only good when they are teamed up together.

I can't see Schumacher driving for anyone Japanese. It's funny but he's been under the wing of the Briatore/Bernie/Ferrari camp for so long I can't see him jumping ship and going to the Japanese or English teams.

Renault maybe? Red Bull? BMW?

McLaren, maybe, only because of the Mercedes link, but only after they buy out Ron Dennis...

Sigh, Luca pushed him out because he had to make way for Ferrari's future, Kimi refused to play 2nd fiddle to Schumacher...

Get your facts straight, you read Autosport, they had numerous articles on it...

I really never liked Schumacher and his ways of doing things, but his talent is undeniable. I'd like to see him on the track again, preferrably in a mediocre team. Can't see it happening.

He was quicker BECAUSE they met his demands. that was M.S.s real talent - getting his own way off track.
There is no doubt in my mind that he prevented Kimi joining while he was there.

A good driver, not neccesarily the best, but a great organiser , and very lucky (Ferrari reliability) and short on ethics. He sometimes did not win fairly so did he win at all? .
No, I dont want him back.

I remember in 06' BMW offered MSC $1,000,000,000 to race for 1 season in 07. He obviously turned them down. Id say if he was to return, he'd call up BMW.

If he was quicker than all his team mates why did they have to let him win ?

I can't see it happening.

Besides, I'd much rather see fresh talent entering the sport. If Schumi returned, it would seem to me to be nothing more than a publicity stunt. He doesn't have any reason to return.
