Seeing as they ( Jordan, Midland, Spyker) have changed their name yet again and there hasnt been a MB of bandwidth about this i thought i would create a thread to gauge peoples opionions.

I was reading an interview with the new owner of the team, who seems intent on winning and creating a huge following in India for F1. Should be an interesting season for them.

I just hope he doesn't turn out like that African prince who got involved with Arrows in 1999 and then buggered off. He seems a nice fella, but you'd think he'd be a bit busy what with his beer company, his airline, his seat in the Indian parliament... Where's he going to find time for F1?

I heard his intention was to put an Indian driver in the seat when they had one good enough. Just hope they don't end up with a team of Kartikayens.

Personally I'd be surprised if Force India are still in F1 at the end of 2009.

I wonder if the PC people and ethnics would cry racism if we had a Force England?

Frankly I think having McLaren, Renault, Williams, Red Bull, Honda, Force India and Prodrive all building their chassis in England is quite impressive enough for our tiny island...

...and they certainly couldn't cry racism if Lewis drove for them!

Not sure if they'd cry racism at that, but they certainly would if RD or FW made a public statement about wanting only British drivers.

How long till Chandhok's at Force India?

Can't be McLaren with German Daimler-Benz Mercedes owning a good chunk of them.
So, probably Williams.

McLaren is a British team, when the drivers win the British National Anthem is played.

I'd like him to open up F1 to a whole new audience, well, F1 is big in India to start with but if he performs even a little better then trailing around the back this could be very good for F1.

Gut feeling is he's buying some advertising space to blast his business partners on the television screens of Europe and he wont be around for long.
