The member's of Germany's Social Democrat Party have backed a resolution to introduce a speed limit on highway's ! Their reason's is that "a fast and unbureaucratic path to climate protection is the introduction of a general speed limit 0f 130 kilometers per hour" or 80mph.

What a shame if it does pass !! I know this has been an ongoing battle for sometime but just like the old saying goes 'try try again and eventually you will succeed'.

There are already some Autobahns in Germany that are restricted, but that'd be indeed a shame, unlimited speed limits on the Autobahns is a tradition.
