Hey all... this season was extremely competitive at the top, somewhat interesting mid-field (but no hope of chasing the fronters), and the back of the grid seemed hopeless... many races were decided in qualy and (sauf few examples!) most passes relied on strategy or performance (meaning the superior car took over the lesser).

Bridgestone being the sole tyre supplier could have helped competition this season, but i think its impact will be clearer in the longer term... anyway competition should probably not take away the elite position of F1 in motorsports, so...

WHAT DO YOU THINK SHOULD F1 IMPLEMENT TO BECOME MORE COMPETITIVE??

Loose all undercar aerodynamics.

get rid if all the sh1t hanging off the bodywork, reclaim energy for some sort of boost and give them active wings (and split the rear wing if they find it improves airflow for following cars)

That is a prdiction, not something to help the cars. It is a correct one too..... 8)

Slicks, higher rear wings (like they were pre-1995) and elimination of all those annoying flips, flaps fins etc. And also make the cars wider again.

Making some cars wider would mean a tight circuit like Monaco would be even harder to overtake on

True, but overtaking has been done before back in the wider car days, I was watching highlights of the 1985 Monaco GP and there was plenty of it back then, especially going into St Devote. And then of course there's 1991 when Mansell slipstreamed Prost all the way through the tunnel and nailed him at the chicane, a superb move. :)

Right now, wings and aero gadgets provide like 80% of the grip, while the tyres only 20%... that's why its so damn difficult to be fast behind someone else's dirty air. Also the driver's ability to take care of the tyres is less important...

I like what most people (why doesnt the FIA agree too??). The best is to bring back slicks and increase wing forces so that the grip lost behind a car is not too important... and if the cars lose too much speed then bring back the V10s.

I think now with 3 total urban circuits F1 has an URGENT task of increasing competition.....

Allow more teams in, more cars, more competition/moving chicanes. :D

more mechanical grip, less aerodynamic grip.

Handicap drivers by giving them drink! Kimi gets the most, then hamilton, then alonso, then nick, then kubica etc etc. When we get down to yamamoto he will have the advantage of being the only one sobber - could make for some intresting racing!

all of the above, I quite like no refueling too

and I am sure Spain would find that every car bar Alonso's should carry 300lb ballast - after all he is (according to them) great and should be given every advantage in his greatness!
