This is my 1st post on the forum so hello there, I hope your combined experience can help me out!

I am from Woking, my girlfriend's from London, we have both being trying in vain to find somewhere to watch the Brazillian GP on Sunday for a week now... I have contacted McLaren to see if they are doing something round here but have had no response.

When getting in touch with pubs or restuarants it seems as though team sports rule the roost for public spectacles.

... but there could be a British F1 Champion on Sunday and we are desperate to watch the game in a more celebratory atmosphere than my sitting room.

Please, please, please let me know if you have any suggestions.

Yeah I got the same problem - I thought I'd found a good pub until they said they'll be showing it WITHOUT any sound

They said if the football is on they give that preference

I know and you'd think there would be a real interest this year with Lewis Hamilton in the running to be the first rookie to win F1 - I got about 20 people I think that would come to watch the F1 if we can find a venue

OK... so it looks like I'm gonna have to wind up McLaren's Marketing Department again and/or call in a favour at a pub I know.

Thanks for responding guys and I'll keep you posted if I come up with anything.

I have talked a pub in London into showing the Brazillian GP with all the build up from 1600 and with sound. They have even let me researve a table in front of their big TV.

The place is: The Hollywood Arms, 45 Hollywood Road, Chelsea, London, SW10 9HX. Tel: 020 7349 7840. http://www.hollywoodarms.co.uk

They are happy to take reservations and serve fantastic food (I go there all the time).

Hopefully see you guys there!!!

Lots of possibilities here: http://www.londonnet.co.uk/ln/out/sport ... cup_1.html
Give a few a call. Bar Lorca is a Spanish bar with TV, they may be showing it. Not sure I would want to watch it in a Spanish bar though and it may be showing a Spanish feed, so the commentary may be in Spanish. One of the listed options must be showing it.

F3K, the first on the list, looks like a good bet.

That website looks good, although I can't see a single TV screen anywhere in the photos .. how many people you got going there? I reckon I could bring around 20. Depends on how the train are running on Sunday though.

I dont think it has been a great season at all. It has been one of the worst I can recall for reason off the track.

I think I may have found a very good pub near Hammersmith that might be showing it - will keep you updated but used them once before for a different event and they have a private room upstairs with a plasma Tv.
