I think Alonso is a competitor and he will do anything to win even black mailing his boss.

Leave the hate to Alonso fans. Alonso is a great driver and so is Hamilton, I will be supporting Lewis all the way. Let's not get nasty about it.

No one has noticed this, but Alonso has not been the worst of the front running drivers.
Hes only had 1 DNF, and thats in Fuji, so while Lewis had germany and china, and kimi had germany and spain.
Alonso should be leading this, but by next week he'll be 3rd due to the fact this year he couldn't cut it

While Massa has had 2 DNF, ferrari messing up his strategy in both France and Hungary, plus 2 back row starts. Thats 6 probelm races, imagine if those races never happened. He deserves the title if you ask me.

You're correct about Alonso. He is no doubt the best all-round driver, however, he loses the head and gets wild and erratic, and lashes out at the team. He said last year that Renault were not supporting him, this year it's McLaren.

Massa is a nice guy, a team player and puts the effort in, however, he does not have the natural talent of people like Raikkonen. It's unfortunate what has happened to him this season, what with reliability and all that, however, he's not the driver people say he has become, despite his improvement.

Alonso will be happy when he gets a Schumacher like role, where there both drivers in the team both aiming for an Alonso title, just like he had at Renault.

I don't think, Alonso wants to go back to Renault, he wanted to destory McLaren and then become a ferrari driver, that was his plans all along.:cry:

Like any other team on F1. There's only 1 who claims equalty (his equalty is a fake).

I don't think he's out of order to want to be no 1 in the team, he joined it the world champion. I think that's reasonable.

Then he should drive faster and behave like a team leader. Still wouldnt get it at McLaren, no one will

only started following it this season but thi is what judgement i have made of Alonso (it is probably very wrong but..............)

I think he might have thought the title was his and he was completely thrown by Hamilton coming along (i might be factually wrong there)

I think he didnt expect the competition, i also think that he is finding it hard to deal with Lewis Hamilton.

I dont hate Alonso, ive never met the man, however sport is sport and without competition, sport wouldnt exist. To be a winner you have to accept losing imho be it Alonso, Lewis or Kimi

If it were your money you were investing then it would be 100% into alonso as he has proven to be the world champion twice. So if he says jump you say how far as you are working with the champion and must trust his word with no arguments. this should have been the attitude of Mclaren which I consider was but perhaps chaged along the way as lewis achieved.

This treating equal is total bullsh*t to make Mclaren look unbiased and almost politician like.

It's win at all costs so off course you would want to give your number 1 driver everything he wanted and anything you get out of the rookie would be a bonus as he was openly discussed at middle of season that anything like a win from him this season would be a bonus.

the trouble is Lewis has turned ouit to be a very talented boy but the loyalties should still have rested with alonso IMO believeing the champion would be the the best bet.

I think somewhere along the line they have taken away the extra support from Alonso and shared it given Lewis's success which has distracted Alonso in a way I didn't think would. after this season you wold have to treat equal but you can't just drop the champ because the boy wonder did good.

you can argue all you want but if it were your money as I said at the beginning of the season I know what I would want everything going into the champ to ensure my sponsor is happy.

interesting debate though.
