Look at this link. Stepney has said that Ferrari spied and had info on McLaren-weight distribution, when they were stopping etc.The sort of stuff McLaren had on Ferrari. So now surely we will have another trial and Ferrari will be stripped of their points leaving BMW the winners.
Well thats the only fair course of action now isnt it? Come on FIA prove you're impartial.

Oh dear me! I guess we'll now have all the Ferrari Fanatics screaming blue murder and frothing at the mouth with righteous indignation. Wait for it!

Yeh I read that to. That’s great he can present all his evidence at the court case in his defence. By the way didn’t he go out of his way in the same article to stress that he did not have any evidence eg. emails, txt messages, phone logs. Oh how convenient.

"The question is: did I use the information, did I talk about it? I spoke to some people [at Ferrari] about it. I can't prove it, there are no e-mails or anything; points about the fuel and the differences between the teams were discussed inside..

I wonder how that will hold up in court ?

If what he is saying is true then I agree Ferrari should have their points stripped.
No arguments from me.

Oh by the way now your saying McLaren are guilty & what they got was deserved.
Finally commonsense has landed, its not hard if you try.:lol:

I'm frothing at the mouth with righteous indination....there ;)

If Ferrari were spying, then yes, they should have the same penalty as McLaren. The problem is that I don't know what to believe when it comes to Stepney. And it's a problem that there is no hard evidence - the dossier played into Ferrari's hands in that it was hard evidence. All we have here are words of a man who has already been fired (therefore not the biggest fan of Ferrari) and no solid evidence - it's a his word against Ferrari's. And who are the FIA going to believe....?

If Ferrari have done it, then they should be treated just like Mclaren, it's pointless doing it any other way.

Stepney is a biiter old man just trying to get revenge on the team that ended him.

I would probably agree. We all know about the personal issues in the spy scandal, for instance, we all know about Stepney's bust up with the team after Brawn left. Why would he (supposedly) assist McLaren and then help Ferrari with McLaren information at the same time? Finally, even if Ferrari were guilty, it's the same case as McLaren: a few employees with pretty useless information. And, unlike braindead Alonso and de la Rosa, Ferrari were not silly enough to put the information everybody else had on paper!

I suppose this is another one of my anti-Ferrari, denying-the-truth-posts. I really should stop.

OK I will type slower for you.
You must be delusional to think that all the data & direct bat phone link with Ferrari which went on for months was only "info that all teams banter about" & that they did not get ANY benefit whatsoever out of it :shock::shock:

All the other sandals in F1 pre this pale into insignificance compared to this. (Including all of Ferrari’s "debatable" indiscretions put together)

You must also be very gullible to think that this article is conclusive proof that what Stepney said is true. On the one hand he tells us all this stuff in detail, then he quickly throws in a BUT I have no proof. Well the impending court case will tell.

(You emphatically state that Ferrari HAD info because of an article where the guilty party himself says he has no evidence. But then when you’re faced with all the evidence you need you doubt it & blame FERRARI for everything including the depletion of the ozone layer, smells like a big dose of HYPOCRACY to me)

Like I said if its true then yes Ferrari should be docked points & fined 100 mill, no if's or buts.

Lets wait and see what comes out. But honestly what do you want Uncle Max to do if Stepney has no evidence which he himself has gone out of his way to let us know about already.
Should he make some up so the Mc hord is appeased. Get real.

Show us the evidence, (which Ferrari has) then charge them just the same.
No arrguments from me.

You obviously have very little understanding of the timescale that is required to build an F1 car. You seem equally ill informed as to the things mechanics talk to amongst themselves on a regular basis. (Yes the McLaren drivers put it in writing, we ALL know that). Expert after expert has said that the info involved was nothing unique and that moving employees have taken far more critical things with them when they move teams. To say everything else pales into significance is absolute bollocks! Everyone knows why McLaren got screwed. Wise up little boy!
