It's Jean Todt whinning about receiving email late, mandating start on full wet tyres. It appears there is a conspiracy against Ferrari, for they are only team to receive tyre email late, BS, LOL, !!!!!. No Jean, you disregarded tyre email starting race on intermediate wets, hoping to catch rest of field out, when it would start to dry. Fortunately the rain never stopped, your scheme to gain an unfair advantage caught you out and both ferrari's had to pit for full wets. Ferrari was in rules violation at race start, but we all know there will be no slap on the wrist. If McLaren had voilated tyre rule, imagine the Ferrari outcry. FIA/Ferrari would strip LH of Fuji win and fine McLaren millions of dollars.

Although I am and will be a Ferrari supporter for life I do find it alittle strange but then again there are several other issue's that lead me to believe it is also true.
The race is over and new rule's have been put into place, issue resolved, and now it's old new's to me.

For F*** sake the journalists walking the grid during the pre race show knew about it! Todt has been making a mockery of the sport since he's been in it!

Without Ross Brawn, Ferrari are rudderless. Todt is nothing more than a poison dwarf. Without Brawn, Ferrari will simply be languishing in midfield, or worse, within five years. The problem is that they will probably bring Brawn back into the team to restore some good old British savvy into their currently sloppy operational mess. He didn't just tell Schumacher when to change his underpants... he also ran development. The man was obviously an absolutely indispensable asset. Then again he may be tempted by a change of scenery. A move to McLaren sounds like a natural slot. British team, hot British driver destined to be '07 champion with a glittering future ahead. Dennis, Brawn, Hamilton and Button... my dream team... and let Ferrari "swivel" on their trophy cabinet. :D

“To avoid any recurrence of today’s problem, the agreed method of using electronic communications will continue to be used but in the future will be backed up by the traditional method of written confirmation.â€

“At a meeting of the Formula One Sporting Working Group held in Monaco on 7th December 2006, all teams agreed to an electronic distribution system to ensure that all competitors received communications simultaneously, with no time advantage for a team by virtue of their location in the pitlane. This system has been used throughout the current championship year."

Tough doodoo... c*ck up by Ferrari as far as I can see.

With this email Crapola, Ferrari has put up a smokescreen and divert everybodys attention from the real issue. The email issue (lack of or late email) is an escape clause for Ferrari if the attempted use of intermediate tyres did not work out. I'm working on another post for tomorrow titled "Ferrari using O.J. Simpson Defense". It explains the following, Scream Loudly, Somebody Else's Fault, We Were Penalized, Act Pi****,Divert Attention From Issue, Got Email Late, ect.

I dont see the need to continually "beat a dead horse"! My whole issue with a post such as this is it's being stated as "FACT" when it is only speculation and opinion?

Beat a dead horse, would this be the Ferrari prancing horse. Speculation and opinion, back off Tex, you are acting more like a dictator not a moderator.

Typical ferrari, bend the rules and everyone is supposed to shut up about it. Shame ferrari fans havn't backed off about mclaren. But as always 1 rule for ferrari, another for everyone else.
