why is Fenando getting so much grief lately? I think he has done a stunning job at McLaren this year. Surely his move to the team has made an Impact, afterall you surely cant say MS move to Firrari didnt have an impact on the teams form?

Also I would tip him to become champion this year and I think he deserves it looking on recent form.. he has blown LH out of the water in the last few races and chopped down LH huge lead. His first lap move on LH surely shows his grit and determination to win and this is the sign of a great champion. Hamilton hasnt showed me this year that he is worthy of winning the title crown (sure he will win it in the future but he still has a lot to learn).

I would also look out for KR as he is hungry and would risk all to win. Ive never seen him so happy as he was at winning the belgian GP

Sorry, no offense, but have you missed out that Alonso bytrayed mclaren, he was invloved in the ferrari scandal, and was at the centre of it.
Its been claimed he black mailed Ron dennis, and was getting ferrari secrets from De la rosa to use on the car

Every type of Media is saying it, and its clear that Alonso was in the middle of the scandal, since it was his neive e-mails that got McLaren caught.

I dont think Alonso was tottally involved, This kinda thing between test drivers and race drivers go on all the time. I dont think McLaren are the only team that are/have cheated. The media just makes it out to be more than it is. Infact I belive the whole Hungary thing by Alonso was actually a protest against McLarens cheating.

Yes it goes on all the time but only when McLaren are implicated do the big guys come out all guns blazing. Then they punish the wrong people

Because Schumacher was given carte blance to chose a team and build it around him. McLaren have been inconsistent for years now. For example: 2003: Not bad; 2004: Nightmare; 2005: Very good; 2006: Nightmare; 2007: Good. There is too much other to suggest that Alonso has had a mammoth impact on McLaren's fortunes, well, that's not true. He did get us docked points, fined $100,000,000 and chucked out the constuctor's championship since his arrival.

Not to mention, his prima donna attitude, being a very sore loser, criticising the team, znd thinking he is the main man, never mind the 1000 other workers at the team.

History won't be looking kindly upon FA for some significant reasons unless he stays in F1 for a looooong time and turns into a role model with impeccable behavior on and off track while still amassing championship titles.
I believe the odds for that to happen - as most would agree here - are prettttty darn slim.

This is why Max Moseley is offering Alonso protection, because it is the right thing to do.
