On-track: Alonso beat MS for 2 years. What he did to McLaren was not acceptable. But he attitude is no different than other big F1 shots. They are self-centered.

Off-track: MS made sure that no other driver on his team can compete against him. It was all about him. I bet that had he had the same level of fair competition as in McLaren, he would have resorted to some nasty methods too. It's in his nature to win at any cost.

Ron Dennis: wanted to play it fair, so he allowed his 2 drivers to compete. That's the real spirit of F1. What he should have done, was to calm LH a little bit on his first year and kind of allow FA to win. But after the 1st year, it's fair game, let the best win.

Jean Todt: never believed in fair play. Allowed MS to have the upper hand because he knew he wouldn't be able to control MS. Of course, that kills the spirit of the sport. But at the end of the day, it's not about the spirit, it's about satisfying their ego (MS/JT). Winning at any cost is fine by their standards.

What's the point of this thread?

MS doesn't race anymore, JT is giving both of his drivers fair play this year. So what's your point?

Recently, there was a thread Senna vs Schumacker. Did you tell whoever started that thread that's worthless. I mean, 1 is dead and the other is retired, what's the point? Plus the countless times that people compared drivers or teams to each other. Where you there to correct them. Don't bother replying because I can guess what it's going to be.

why should Ron Dennis tell LH to cool it in his 1st year? If FA is the best in the world he should be able to beat him!
