And this? Is there anyone who 'd like to talk about it with me?

I see that you usually talk about the Ferrari's floor and Renault's mass damper. Have you never seen the McLaen front wing? If you got the time, we can talk about it. The meaning of this post is that someone of those that calls a "cheat" the floor ferrari, could be so kind to explane to me where and why there is a cheat.

Well with the Renault Mass Damper, their car wouldnt be subjected to high levels of vibration and could easily keep the tyres as close to the kerbs while riding over them.

Very well. Is was a dynamic absorber. But why has been banned?

3.15 Aerodynamic influence:
With the exception of the cover described in Article 6.5.2 (when used
in the pit lane) and the ducts described in Article 11.4, any specific
part of the car influencing its aerodynamic performance:
- Must comply with the rules relating to bodywork.
- Must be rigidly secured to the entirely sprung part of the car (rigidly
secured means not having any degree of freedom).
- Must remain immobile in relation to the sprung part of the car.
Any device or construction that is designed to bridge the gap
between the sprung part of the car and the ground is prohibited
under all circumstances.
No part having an aerodynamic influence and no part of the
bodywork, with the exception of the skid block in 3.13 above, may
under any circumstances be located below the reference plane.

the mass damper was banned as it was a large weight suspended INSIDE the car, and any frontal impact which damaged the nose coule send this weight into the cockpit area, injuring driver, or out of the car, potentially injuring another person.

also this affected the roll of the car thereby affecting the aerodynamics, and was a sprung device( therefor moveable) and therfore against the regulations.

the sprung floor, this allowed the front of the floor to move up at high speed (but still pass the static load test), by moving up, it allowed more air under the car, this increased the speed of the air under the car, and increased downforce (underfloor aerodynamics). however this movement was to a part which affects the aerodynemics, and therefore was a MOVEABLE AERODYNAMIC DEVICE, therefore banned.

dynamic absorber was just a way of trying to get round its real use, and it was not only used by ferrari

Clear. But...they changed the static load test. or? After the test on Ferrari floor in melbourne, i mean...

Still waiting for a real explanation of the banning of this device

This device was REGULAR, why the f**c ron talks about it? Please, all of you monsters, tell me why has been banned. This problem, is the same problem of the future of formula 1. Let's talk about it

it was banned for the same reason as flexible wings..

it was designed to be flexible under high loads (MOVEABLE) and it is the floor of the car, therefore it is an AERODYNAMIC DEVICE.

this means it is a MOVEABLE AERODYNAMIC DEVICE and illegal, therfore it was banned.

is it that hard to understand???
