It was an unbelievable race, in Nurburgring. During the beginning of the race when it pour heavily, and everybody go aquaplanning, some drivers went out of the track at turn one including Hamilton. We think he should have turned off his engine and get out from his car, like everybody else. He was already trap in the gravel, there's no way he could drive himself out of it, and he should think of the other drivers safety, and should have got out of there, knowing there might be another car coming into the gravel trap too, and might hit him and endanger the other drivers. He had kept his engine running and hoping the marshals would lift him off the gravel trap back to the track, and race.

And also, in another incidents, which is much more dangerous than staying in the gravel trap, was when he tried to overtake Coulthard. He was trying to use the pit lane entrance to overtake Coulthard. Coulthard almost collided with him when Coulthard was happened to be going into the pit.

We think he should be shown the black flag for the race, and if not he should be suspended for the next race.

I think he should be shown the black flage, because he couldnt continue the race without marshals support.

How is sitting in his car in the gravel trap making it more dangerous for other drivers?! Surely the only driver he was endangering was himself!?

Selcouth_Feline,

Why don't you drive a F1 car and ram it into him, and see what happen to yourself. We are not talking about his own safety, obviously he doesn't care. We are talking about others drivers safety. The tyres wall is there for safety purpose, if he doesn't move his azz. THE TYRES WALL BECOMES F1 CARS WALL.

I thought it was an excellent piece of intiative to leave the engine running, knowing that he would be lifted back on track and so he could carry on. Turning his engine off would hardly have moved the car out of the way any quicker, and cars aquaplaning towards him is dangerous enough, the engine running is a moot point.

This is a STOOPID thread, if he'd got out of the car the car still would have been there, muppet! Leaving the engine on was a stroke of genius, and well within the rules.

As for the overtaking DC incident, BLACK FLAG??!!! Is a good job you don't run F1 lad, because bloody-hell it would be boring!

I'm not a Fan off Lewis but I have to say holding on there with the engine running was a Bloody smart move, He never ever gives up, you got to admire that. Holding on for points when a another man gives up is the difference between a Champinon and a Driver.

Um, even if Hamilton had gotten out of the car, the car would still have been there....I'm sure if you crash, it doesn't make a huge difference if you crash into an empty car, or one with a driver in it. I think he showed a lot of courage to sit there and keep the engine running.

I personally think the mover thing was more dangerous than Hamilton not getting out of the car as Liuzzi(?) nearly went underneath when he span off-track.

whats with the amount of morons signing up here lately, how is sitting in your car dangerous to other drivers? :?

when youre in a position like that the best thing to do is sit in your car, can you imagine if he got out when the spiker or torro rosso came past? The tractor got hit ffs!

and all F1 cars have anti stalls in them now, he didnt damage his car by hitting the wall compared to the others around him and im sure they would have done the same thing too, seeing as the race was restarted and he was dead last what is everyones biff?

Did you see that STR fly through the air and almost collect the S/C. What if it had hit Hamilton while the tractor was lifting him into the air. With the engine running. And 18 laps of fuel. While he was still strapped into the cockpit?

Hamilton kebab.

Mclaren also have to answer for leting Alonso out of the pit into the path of the renault. What if a Honda mechanic had been hit?
