Hi Everybody,
I am a writer and at present I am collating information regarding the 1950 British Grand Prix at Silverstone, the first ever race of the official Formula 1 World Championship.
The book that I am writing isn't just going to be about the race or the drivers involved, I want to also relate to the fans that attended and those involved in this historic occasion.
If there is anybody on the forum who attended (I know, it was a long time ago) or who had/have relatives who attended I would be really happy to talk with you so that I can go over their memories, look at any memorabilia that they may have.
I look forward to speaking with any of you.
