With the first two positions most likely to be the Mercedes drivers based on the results of Australian GP the focus of the Malaysian GP will be who is the best of the rest!

So who do you think will be the most likely to finish 'best of the rest' and stand on the final podium step in Malaysia?

I voted Vettel.
He's freshly-strong, motivated and fast, plus he seems quite content with the car. If not him, then I would say Bottas.

I think Vettel based upon the pace Ferrari exhibited in Melbourne, Williams have lost ground over the winter it seems, I don't think it will be Raikkonen, I still don't get the impression that he is 100% committed and his awful performance last season doesn't inspire confidence.

SV could play the role of DR last season: always in the shadow of the Merc drivers, ready to pounce if one or both of them get into trouble. This could keep him in the running for the title for a while if we go by last year...

Interesting that they have a two tier betting line for F1.

I believe so.
But it's early days...who knows, McLaren-Honda may well be up to speed within a few years. However I do think Alonso has made a mistake.
