If you're that bothered about how poor Honda are doing Jenson, why don't you just leave them?

Button should have gone to Williams in 2005, and I'm sure if he does plenty of apologising to Sir Frank, he could get himself a race seat alongside Rosberg for 2008. Either that or he could join Prodrive for next year.

I bet he is already in talks with Richards of Prodrive. He DOES deserve better than Honda.

AGGHHHHH but what if Honda come good next year?! It would just be JB's luck wouldn't it!

My poor nerves cant take his career any more! :P

My thoughts. Jenson never gets any luck, how Ralf Schumacher does it i'll never know.

Life's not fair. Let him go take a nap on his pile of money.

Yea, I know JB is bummed about his prospects. He knows that the current team are not up to it and anyone new would take several yrs to get systems and people in place to produce a winner. So he's not feeling too good right about now.

On the other hand he can just settle in and make a ton more money but risk losing his racers edge, something that happens when you have no chance of running at the front and not challenged by your team mate. Or he can quit. I say he stays and gets the life if not the wins!

Honda are improving though, perhaps not next year but in 2009 they could be very competitive.

Hehe. Optimism. Yeah, I know they will definitely improve but there are many other teams improving you see. BMW, Red Bull, Williams, ProDrive coming up, Super Aguri is developing really well..etc.

So if all improve, it all rounds up. Honda are back on the same position. You cannot expect all teams to be the best :P

What do you think?

I think the Honda has to be more competitive for the honour of the team. By all rights they have the money and the technology to be very competitive, but if they dont perform next season then I have a sneaking suspicion that the big-wigs in Japan may pull the plug. Although saying that, would it be like admitting defeat to Toyota?!!

I can't see Honda pulling the plug, with their own racetrack on the calendar, a B-team etc I think they are here for the long haul

i believe if schumacher nd ferrari wa not unstoppable like they were in 2004, Jenson could have won the championship tht was his best season and had a pretty competitive car all year.

Would be a shame if he were to quit. Would like to see him race in a 'better car' to see whether or not he could cut it at the top. But as someone said in a another thread, it's not as if the big teams are looking for new drivers.

He should have stayed with Renault :) If he'd gone to Williams, he'd have had an even worse season than he did last year. Honda will come right one day, they certainly are throwing tons of money at the problem and are located in the UK, where most of the best technical people and facilities are based.
