Born in Switzerland on 17 December 1994, Raffaele, known as Lello, started karting at a very young age, finishing fourth in the WSK Series (a world renowned championship in this discipline) with the Intrepid team, one of the best know international Karting constructors. In the 2010 season Marciello got the third place in Formula Abarth ACI-CSAI with JD Motor Sport, the team which over the past decade has taken innumerable wins and titles in various categories.

In 2011 Raffaele ran in the Formula 3 in Italy and he gained the third place in the final classification and the second in the Rookies one. In 2012 Raffaele made his debut in Europe in the F3 Euroseries and FIA Championships obtaining a third and a second place in the respective championship standings thanks to his 8 wins and 13 podium finishes. Last season, he won the FIA Formula 3 championship and 2014 sees Raffaele make his debut in GP2 with the Spanish team, Racing Engineering.

Born on 20 May 1996 at Cariati, Italy, Antonio began his career in karts, when he was only four years old and in 2007 he took his first international win in the 60mini class. In 2009, the promising driver moved up to KF3 where he finished third in the Italian championship, improving the following year when he finished second overall in the series.

At the end of 2011, Antonio won the Supercorso prize organised by the CSAI in collaboration with the FDA, which included some tests in a Formula Abarth car. Antonio secured excellent results in 2012, when he made his debut in KF2, finishing third in the WSK Euroseries and the progress he demonstrated in the tests at the wheel of a Formula Abarth were enough for the Italian youngster to officially become part of the Ferrari Driver Academy. In 2013, Fuoco was crowned champion in the Formula Renault 2.0 Alps and this year, he contest the FIA Formula 3 championship with the Prema team.

Guan Yu Zhou was born in Shanghai on 30 May 1999 and began kart racing when he was 8. In 2008, he won 8 races and the title “Best young driver.” In 2012, he moved from China to London to study and, at the same time, continued racing in karts with Team Strawberry Racing, taking several wins in the Rotax championship.

In 2013, Guan Yu won the European championship in the Junior Rotax and ABKC S1 Rotax Junior categories and was third in the final of the Euro Max Challenge, in September in Salbris, France.

In June 2014, Guan Yu joined the Maranello Ferrari Driver Academy. He is racing for the Strawberry Racing team in the Rotax Max Euro Challenge championship and the CIK-FIA European KF Championship. From 18 to 21 September, he will take part in the 2014 CIK-FIA World KF World Championship.

Born on 29 October 1998 in Montreal (Quebec), Lance’ s karting curriculum is impressive: already on his record are two wins in the Canadian national championship in the Rotax Mini Max category as well as Coupe de Montreal and Coupe du Quebec Micro Max Championship in 2008 and both Mini Max Championships in 2009. In 2012, Lance finished sixth in the World Finals at Lonato in the Mini Roc category and second in the Rotax Micro Max Florida Winter Tour, a series he won this year in Mini Max along with taking the title in the Tag/Cadet Florida Winter Tour.

Nominated by the Fedération Sport Automobile du Quebec as Rookie of the Year in 2008 and Driver of the Year the following year, in 2010 he won no less than four titles in the Florida Winter Tour, in the Canadian ASN Championship and the Coupe de Quebec. In 2011 Lance Stroll ran with Dino Chiesa Team in the Italian kart Championship and he finished eighteen while in the WSK Euro Series with 44 points to take ninth place in the KF3 class championship. In 2012, the young Canadian continued his experience alongside the team and won the Las Vegas Trophy, finishing fourth in the WSK Master, fifth in the World Championship CIK-FIA, eighth in the Euro CIK-FIA and twelfth in the WSK Euro. In 2013, Lance competed in the KF category in the CIK and WSK Championships once again with Chiesa Corse team and was recognised as the best rookie. This year, Stroll steps up to single-seater car racing, taking part in the FIA Formula 4 Championship with the Prema team.

Born on 3 August 1989 in Nice (France), Jules made his debut in the Kart Junior category in 2004, taking second place in both the European and French championships. He stopped karting in 2006 after taking that year’s French title. His win record grew with victories in Formula Renault 2.0 (Team SG Formula -2007) in which he took the French Championship title and in the F3 Euro Series (3 rd place) driving for the ART Grand Prix team, who also took him to the title in 2009. After a great start in the GP2 Asia series, from 2010 to 2011, Jules’s competed in GP2 with the Lotus ART team and in the last year with this team he finished third in the championship.

The Frenchman also has the backing of the Federation Francaise du Sport Automobile, who consider him one of the rising stars of French motorsport of the past couple of years and since 2010 he has been a student at the Maranello-based Ferrari Driver Academy. In 2012 Jules was nominated as reserve driver for the Sahara Force India team for the F1 season and he also raced in the Renault Formula 3.5 Championship where he finished second overall thanks to his 3 wins and 8 podium places. Since 2013, Bianchi has been a race drive r with the Marussia F1 Team.

Maranello, 15 February –

With one race still to go, today Lance Stroll clinched the Toyota Racing Series title, a winter championship now in its eleventh year.

Feilding’s Manfeild Park circuit hosted the fifth and final round of the series and the Maranello Ferrari Driver Academy youngster finished sixth in Race 1 and third in the second one, which was enough to take the title.

After that came the prestigious 60th New Zealand Grand Prix, in which the Canadian youngster finished on the top step of the podium. Stroll has finished on the podium ten times in 16 races in this New Zealand trip.

He can now prepare for a new challenge, the European Formula 3 Championship, which gets underway over the weekend of 12 April at Silverstone circuit.
