I didn't think it fair to put this in the red Bull thread, so Horner gets one if his own.

Apparantly the reason he left his long term partner when she was having his child was because her son from a previous marriage was smoking spliffs and Horner thought if it got out it would be bad for his F1 reputation. Apparantly to succumb to the stalkings of Gerri Halliwell and starting an affair while your partner has your child, that's fine for your reputation,

I would imagine there is a lot more underlying than that. Women can be very difficult to deal with then they are with child though.

I keep my likes and dislikes of people in the sport limited to what they do in the track. Who was it that said, never meet your heroes, they'll always disappoint.

Horners never had any chance of being my hero and he's no good on the track......so he's fair game.
Jab not all women are difficult when pregnant. But I imagine getting dumped during that time doesn't help matters. As you say there's probably much we don't know. But he could at least man up to it and not blame a teanager smoking a spliff.

If there is one person that you would expect to do these things just from what you know of his modus operandi in his F1 persona then it has to be the odious Horner. The guy has no shame and is completely cynical and ruthless with doing things of questionable morality for selfish reasons.

Chap is a snake, and in good company with at least one other in F1 when it comes to dumping a pregnant spouse for more glamour, thing is snakes never morphersise later into something noble, so if there werent any clues about Horner previously - it might be unfair tojudge him, but lets use some intuition here and see why he would be attractive to minger spice
