This was a pretty good read. Can't say I'd have changed much, maybe turns 14/15 in Bahrain would have been nice to see. I really like the Austin circuit the more I see it, IMO it's Tilke's best design.

The 10 best corners in Formula 1

You do get the odd sequence of corners which are good on some Tilke tracks, turns 12, 13 and 14 at Malaysia is a good section IMO. As for Eau Rouge at #1, I think Degner 1 and 2 is better IMO, especially with the gravel waiting to eat you up on any mistakes.

I think the last two corners of Austria should be included....steep downhill high speed right hand kinks, must be thrilling for a driver.

Personally I like T1 in Shanghai as well, flat out right hand entry and then braking progressively, allowing two lines into the corner depending how you want to take T2.

Those are good suggestions too. Those final turns in austria are probably quite difficult to get perfectly right and quite satisfying when you do

The last 2 corners at Austria reminds me of the last 2 corners at Catalunya before the chicane was introduce, it must feel awesome when the drivers nail it thru there, Something I never did when playing F1 championship edition, it was a b#### to get right.

Degner! Haha! Surprised it's all the way up at number 2 because I never knew the name of that section until I read the article. Definitely the most difficult corner for me in any racing game. I love Suzuka so much - but I absolutely hate that corner because it has crushed many of my dreams in the past....

Definitely worthy of number 2 - I just thought that I was the only person who struggled with what appears to be 2 simple turns... It's like a vooodoo corner that everyone else can get right but I can't unless I take it slower....

I love the Degner corner, at least on the EA version (F1 Challenge) I always got that part right but its the section right before the overhead bridge where I carry too much speed and smack the barrier. And I notice drivers do it too....Lewis did it in Practice last year.

But the first flick is always fun, and then use very little kerb on the outside to guide the car through the second flick while keeping it balanced. Feels good when you get it right.
