Actually I wouldn't discount the Brits, I would almost bet money on Lewis winning the race and I wouldn't be surprised to see Jenson or Coulthard in the points (assuming the car holds together).

A point was made during last weekend that Magny Cours suited the Ferraris, partly because of the smooth surface from the relaid tarmac. However, I disagree that this was the reason for their return to form. They have a chance, but the McLaren is probably the better car. Also remember that McLaren have always tested at Silverstone on a regular basis, whereas Ferrari usually opt to run on Italian circuits when other teams head to the Northamptonshire circuit.

Again, BMW can't be ruled out.

even if it remotely looks like there might be rain, at some point, somewhere near northamptonshire, you can write massa off :)

Remember the Ferraris driving like speed demons around Silverstone during the tests a few weeks back? So, you're point is a moot one. They actually are the favorites at Silverstone for many reasons. They will have some more new (and tested) aero pieces they didn't have yet in Magny Cours, they're on a high after the 1-2 in France and the spy/sabotage scandal should help them too, i.e., we're going to show them attitude.

The crowd will give Lewis some extra speed to beat the Ferraris and Alonslow. Don't discount Williams to do well either, this is probably the fastest circuit so far this season and the Toyota is a powerful beast that the works team can't get anything out of.

A few weeks in F1 is an eternity. And Silverstone was on the back of two wins for McLaren...does testing show race pace?

And McLaren will be saying, "we're going to show them, Magny Cours was a one-off!"

Qualies:
p1=massa still more consistent than kimi but will also be lighter
p2=hamilton continues great debut season
p3=kimi not far off and will run longer in 1rst stint
p4=alonso runner up

Race:
1 massa will hold on this time
2 hamilton will not let kimi by!
3 kimi settles for 3rd
4 Alonso

Unless it rains, then is wide open! :lol:

Ralf will cause a crash no doubt, he's sort of like Andrea De Cesaris but he's now causing crashes later in his career as opposed to De Cesaris early in his career.

The crowd went mad when Massa stalled. :D

Shame Hamilton didnt turn the pole into a win, but there's still plenty of British GP's left for Hamilton to claim. :)
