Best Race to attend

Hi, I am looking to surprise my hubby with a formula 1 weekend away next year for his 30th. I am thinking Singapore if i can get the money together as it looks like an amazing experience. Is it worth the money. Travelling from Ireland it is working out at just under €4000 for flights hotel & tickets. Thats not including spending money. What other races would be considered one of the best to attend? Any recommendations appreciate. Also is it better to book flights tickets etc myself or go trough travel agent?

Singapore is a good option, because alongside the Grand Prix (always very well attended) you get to experience the city-life also. The racing is usually good, and because of the barriers lining the circuit, there's usually a lot of action (I think every single race there has had a safety car thus far).

If he's been a long time fan, there are venues such as Spa Francorchamps in Belgium and Monza in Italy, which are really historic, full of passionate fans, and a lot of dedicated F1 fans often feel they should visit these particular venues at least once, just for the experience.

And then, don't disregard good old Silverstone! The atmosphere is electric, the grandstands are always packed to the rafters, and the racing is more often than not excellent.

Yeah, why venture out of Europe? Singapore is just a night track which is great for TV....might as well stick to Europe where the tracks are 'real' and you actually get to SEE racing.

I would say Silverstone for my perspective since it is just a wonderful experience even when the cars aren't racing. Yeah I'd stick to the European venues. Spa and Italy are great venues...Or Canada?
