F1 driving experience

Postby ravisherwal »

Hey People!
I am from India and an avid formula-1 lover. Though India has one of the best circuits in the world, it doesn't has something to experience the thrill of driving an F1. I have a budget of around $1500 and couldn't find any racing school giving a one day experience; and the ones which I found are very expensive. If someone has any idea of a budgeted package kindly let me know as early as possible.
Thanks
Ravi Sherwal

for an F1 experience I'm sure you'd have to throw another zero at the end of your budget. In the US there are a number of open wheeled schools for one day in that range, but you'd want a two or three day program to get the most of any experience like that and find some real growth and improvement.

I have an experience drive in an F3000 car many moons ago, and to be honest that was enough to scare. So I am not surprised that people do not let anyone drive an F1 car without a lot of experience and building up to it.

Not really.

But taking into account flight costs from India and accomodation.....then maybe, another 0 could be required.

This is a really good read for any of you racers or would be racers out there. Will the journo, and some other media guys get the chance to drive an F 1 car. Will writes about the experience. Wow it sounds good!!!! Sounds like a drug!
