i have been enough satisfied, just wondering why kimi didn't try to do one lap more, since he passed the line 1 seconds before the red light..maybe he was out of fuel?!

and what happened to FA? the italian press was on a strike so we had no commentary, and i haven't read yet any news...

FA had a gearbox problem, so he'll start from 10th tomorrow.

KR just likes to start a race from behind :shock::P

He probably didn't know he crossed the line before the times up, and if they told him it was after he already spent several hundred feet going slow.

Though they were talking about him coming back to the pits 5 minutes later than everybody else, i.e., he did an extra lap that got timed (although with a slower time) and then the outlap, thereby getting fuel credit for one more lap - could be interesting for the race tomorrow.

Looks like the extra lap of fuel paid handsomely for KR.

Nice to see Ferrari bounce back and especially Raikonnen, really adds the spark to the Championship fight once again, it clearly is a 4 way tie. Hamilton did the best thing possible, finish as strongly as possible and increase his lead over Alonso.

Dissapointed for Williams after being outdone by Button, imagine how he would have been doing if he had gone to Williams, he'd probably get the FW29 chasing the Ferraris and McLarens quite easily. Wurz really needs to step his game up though, I honestly think he doesn't have that racing edge anymore after his years of test driving. But the Williams was fastest through the speed traps and I think they'll come good at Silverstone next week which is a fast circuit. The FW29 is a good car, but needs a top driver to get the best out of it.

Last time I checked, a tie needs to have equal points, which is clearly not the case here. But I agree, it could still be considered a 4-way race for the championship. Except for LH, everybody has had their share of misfortune so far - time for LH to have some too?

Ok not tie then, battle. I put tie as I was typing in a hurry and it was the first word that came to mind.
