Nice vid!

I particularly enjoyed his predictions on the teams, from about 20 minutes onwards. In depth thoughts on Red Bull, Ferrari, Merc and McLaren with some additional snippets about the rest. Interesting.

Interesting, he's got similar views to myself.

He ranks the top 4 in the following order: Red Bull, Mereceds, Ferrari and then McLaren where as I think the teams will end up in the order of: Mercedes, McLaren, Red Bull, Ferarri...

I'm so happy that Allan mentioned something that I said to someone a week ago about that McLaren have chosen well with their drivers, gone for a highly experienced GENTLE/SOFT driver (Button) and a very fast youngster (Mag) which should blend quite good especially on developments for the car. Obviously Vettel will be good in terms of managing the traction with the extra torque but the likes of Hamilton, Alonso and Kobayashi will all have to learn to tone it down a little but considering all three are very good drivers they're bound to get the hang of it especially if they've got a good car underneath them at the start of the season (Alonso and Hamilton both appear to have a good car atm)

I can't wait for the season to start, most excited I've ever been for a F1 season :P

He did say he expected Merc to move forward if they sorted out the fragility/reliability from last year
Also he mentioned Mag, despite a more gung ho style than Button was already quicker and so it shouldnt be a problem for the most adaptable drivers on the grid, Alonso and Lewis

Seb has had problems adapting to a car without the EBD rear downforce, we saw Webber match him when he first lost this. I am not sure there is any evidence he has any advantage over others with controlling excess torque in lower downforce out of corners. His advantage there was the Newey magic bullet that is no longer there

I think we will find out who the best drivers are by how fast they go in quali. During the races will bring more differentiators

This is what Webber says
Yet Webber believes there are reasons why Daniel will be closer to Vettel than the bookies and most people think. Webber’s comments infer that much of Vettel’s advantage under the former regulations were because he best learned to drive in a counter intuitive manner – accelerating when you should be braking. This gave him superiority in slow corners and all this was necessary to extract the most from the car due to Newey’s ‘blown floor’ designs.

“I took a few off Seb last year — and the blown floor is gone now,” says Webber. I think Daniel will be fine, and it certainly won’t hurt him that he’s come through the Red Bull system. I just hope he gets better starts than I did!”
