Just as it says...

I'm wondering what people do, that they really should have grown out of. I seem to have quite a lot, and I'm sure there's more. Here's some.....

Swings ( all sorts, the ones in parks, rope swings etc)
Licking out the bowl when I've made a cake.
Making sandcastles, the sorts with moats round that the sea can come in.
Playing on all the interactivity things with knobs and buttons in museums.
Getting conkers- I can't resist the feel of them and taking them out of the shell all shiny and new.
Picking up stones- as above I like the look and feel of them.
Doing silly walks in the street
Santa
Fairies (I know they're not real, but I SO want them to be)

As I say, I'm sure there's more. I'll add them as I think of them. So what are yours?

:rofl: you think I should have grown out of that?

I still find farting noises funny

So do I! I kind of consider it a competitive sport that should be pursued with as much as passion as formula 1.

- threatening my "little" brother that I'll tell Mommy what he did!!
(to put it into perspective, my "little" brother just turned 50 on the weekend!)

- sitting outside to watch the lightening and listen to the thunder!

- watching the original version of "The Wizard of Oz"!

- excitement of Christmas (NOT the commercial stuff)!

- the "fear" of the smell of incense (reminds me of funerals)!

- walking past this picture of Jesus, whose eyes follow you around the room... seriously, they do!!

Oh yes!! Thunder and lightening! Love it!!

I've never really understood the entertainment guys derive from farting.

Or burping!! Must be one of those Venus vs Mars differences, eh?

Fear of a smell! Interesting.

As for Christmas I had a childhood flash back whilst on holiday. I won a bottle of cheap champagne (£3 a bottle stuff) it reminded me of Christmas roast when I was a kid. My folks thought it was cultured.

Not been anywhere with things like that for a while but would.

Do they have "Black Cat" gum??

I've never heard of that before, what is it?

Taking photos of yourself and putting them on the internet....

Man....I so agree with this, but it seems 95% of the population are now 'bedridden' with this habit. Selfies galore, everywhere. I just don't get it.

Anyway, to keep on topic

Cereal
Seeing a movie more than once (or twice max)
Roadrage syndrome
Staying in bed past 10am (At least I've massively improved from high school days, my record being 4pm)

Can't think of more for now but there's loads more.
#376350
my inability to change the channel every time I come across the original Star Wars or Die Hard movies.

other than that, noting, why grow out of something you enjoy if it's not hurting anyone?
