Re: Feel The Force India support thread
Well that's a very nice thing to do Lemon
I will try to contribute to the thread.
I'll start with......I like Sutil but am disappointed in him.

Re: Feel The Force India support thread
ESPNF1 Force India deputy team principal Bob Fernley says the team will not stand in Paul di Resta's way should he wish to leave.
Di Resta was linked to the vacant seat at McLaren towards the end of last year but eventually lost out to Sergio Perez. However he has bounced back strongly this season by scoring 34 points in the opening seven races - including a fourth place in Bahrain - and Fernley told Press Association Sport that if di Resta's form earned him an offer from another team he would not be forced to stay.
"Paul is contracted to us anyway for next season, so the question is whether somebody else comes in, so it won't be our decision," Fernley said. "Whether Paul has to be released, or whatever, that can only come from him. But we wouldn't stand in his way. That's not our policy. If a driver feels he is better somewhere else, what would be the point in keeping him?"
Fernley pointed to Nico Hulkenberg's move from Force India to Sauber last year as proof the team will allow drivers to choose their own futures.
"We proved that at the end of last year with Nico Hulkenberg. Did we want to lose Nico? Not at all. He was a great member of our team, but we didn't get in the way of that particular move. We then proved by bringing in Adrian (Sutil) we are capable of recovering from such a situation and carrying on as normal. Maybe Nico is asking a few questions himself today, although last year it didn't look such a bad option."
"I don't want to be part of a forum where everyone has differing opinions." Boom...

Force India, from the remnants of the Jordan team, ignoring the best Indian driver around in Chandhok, dodging lawsuits and vengeful national prosecutors, to become the reserve Mercedes team and displacing Mclaren in the process

What's Burning they said that at the end of last year too, that may be an old quote, not sure; but they've said that before. Personally I do like the way FI go about business, punching way above their weight, much like Jordan did.

They have some good people in there, that's for sure. The car is reputed in the paddock to have a very good aero-package, at least in a straight line for the past few years so there's some talent in the engineering division. Handy drivers too, both guys are solid and have a decent head on their shoulders.
In their race strategy department though, there might be some head scratching going on.

Breaking News:Lewis Hamilton has officially overtaken The Fonz in race wins. With 88 races less. Lol(Without a specially built blown diffuser, illegal front wing, preferential treatment)

And some of their pit-stops this year have been astonishing, even more so than one or two of McLaren's last year!

They had the fastest pit stop two or three times last year, that's one area they don't need to improve that's for sure. Their strategists are a bit strange though, they always want to stand out and that only works 20% of the time.

Sympathy piece. Mercedes got on top of the tires just in time to suffer from the changes as well. It also seemed to have no impact on some teams and helped others. Total crapshoot since these tires were transitional. Lets see how they do in Hungary.

yeah but FI weren't given a tyre test to discover they need to swap the tyres around, which they never did which is why they suffered no problems at Silverstone (Amongst luck, obviously).

Technically then they all cheated, they switched the tyres around and now dropping in pace, their fault, they should have found ways to improve the car on it's tyres, not the other way.
I'm a Lewis Hamilton h8r and it burns my @ss that he's now a two time WDC.

But Force India didn't swap the tyres around and they just made them work.
