How Super Aguri wasn't ready for AD's pitstop in Montreal? Well, Matchett did a little paddock tour to show where and how the cameras are mounted on the individual cars. When demonstrating Super Aguri's setup, there was a little stuffed animal sitting on the nose. It was in memory for the groundhog who had the misfortune to cross ways with AD's car - that's why he pitted late and the team wasn't ready.

Now GF drove over a pidgeon in the 3rd practice! It was just sitting on the track and kaboom - no more!
Are Renault trying to get wings w/o consulting Red Bull?

Actually Jean-Paul Belmondo was a french film star, his son Paul Belmondo did drive for Pacific though :P

As for Gachot, his career had just about been killed off when he had the altercation with the London cabby that got him sent to the nick for a few months and opened the door for Schumi. It was a shame because he'd been doing well with De Crasheris in the 7Up Jordan and had set the fastest lap at Hungaroring, funny that was his last race for the team, and then Moreno's fastest lap at Spa was his last drive for Benetton.

Surprised during his Pacific years or even in his Larrousse year in 1992 he didn't take off Schumacher for stealing his seat. And we never saw Schumi dedicating any of his wins "to the London cabby driver who got into a fight with some Belgian and let me into the sport."

Mind you having said that, Schumi's teammates at the Sauber Mercedes Sports car team still found their way into F1, Wendlinger made his debut at Leyton House after Capelli had decided to step aside as he'd signed for Ferrari, and Frentzen made his debut with Sauber in 1994, so someway or another, Schumi would have found a way into F1 even without Mr B Gachot and the London Cabby driver's brawl.

I was talking about Scott Speed. The Red Bull Driver Search led by Stephan Johannsen to find an American driver.
