And also when you could CLEARLY see Massa ahead of Alonso, JA was still saying "Alonso is 3rd, Massa 4th". I was hoping JA wouldn't end up doing what Murray Walker did in the 1991 Canadian GP and have Hamilton stalling at the hairpin like Mansell did.

I tried listening to Five Live instead... even worse. Took them AGES to realise that Massa had passed Aonso.

WTF was that with Fisi and Massa being black flagged? Was their radio broken? Kubica was waiting at the red light and they both just went for it. Chaos.

Thank goodness Kubica's relatively OK. That accident made me feel sick.

And almost went right into Scott Speed's parked Torro Rosso!! I remember in the 1990 Canadian GP when Alessandro Nannini had spun off at the corner Alonso mucked up at once today, and then a few laps later, Alesi spun off at the same corner into Nannini's stranded Benetton and wrote it off!!

Here in the US we got the Speed TV team being carried by Fox. A mixed bag with Fox's onscreen intrusions and they even skipped the driver interviews! What up with that?

But the spectacle of the race might generate some more interest over here so thats cool. Sure beats NASCAR!

Our Italian commentator is no better, calling Lewis's dad Anthony Davidson.

Perhaps his worst gaffe today was expecting Kubica's manager to interview when he had just heard of Robert's accident and was rushing to find out more. No sense. no ethics.

He also had to swallow his words on Ferrari's race pace which according to him would have been superior to Maccas.

Love the SpeedTV crew, they are very informative eventhough most of the time they are getting a satelite feed. Hate the FOX network. You can't watch a race without they plastering ads all over the screen, its like getting pop-ups. At one point, they flashed a baseball player running across the screen and for a split second, I thought someone was running across the track. I will Tivo the race again on Tuesday on SpeedTV to watch the celebration and interviews since FOX decided that wasn't important.

Anthny Hamilton is lewis' father. While they were getting out of their cars, James said something about Anthony Hamilton being ecsatic or whatever, then Anthiny Hamilton was on screen, and james said there he is or something. So it wasn't a mistake. I didn't catch the other time.
