I have to admit that I'm rather worried about how important sponsorship money has become in Formula 1. Good drivers are being tossed aside to place unproven, and maybe even mediocre drivers that have a truckload of sponsorship. This is detrimental to the quality of the sport, especially since it happens mostly in the middle-to-low teams, where drivers grow and scale up the proficiency and team ladders.
What's your opinion on this subject? What could be done to prevent this tendency? Budget caps? Get rid of Bernie once and for all? Otherwise, Formula 1 will become a racing auction, where only the highest bidder gets to race.

For sure!
