Women have a 1 in 255 chance of being color blind, men a 1 in 12 chance. Don't worry fellas, there's evolutionary reasons for that, so don't get all competitive up in here.

I did well for my age group, check out your score. It's a little tediuous and will take you six or seven minutes to complete, but you'll know if you're affected by colorblindness. Chances are most men will have "some" degree of it.

I got 12.

I don't give much credibility to a simple online test like that, though a much more credible one could be done with physical colored cards like you see in a paint shop. The digital cards on a screen with the black background and the lines between em could really mess with a lot of peoples' eyes.

The way the colours show up could depend on the monitor and the graphics settings. Settings should be set to 24 or 32 bit (both are the same with regards to that test) and not all displays are capable of showing that colour resolution.

Or maybe your eyes aren't able to discern some small differences.

EDIT: Gamma settings might affect it too.

Very true, your video setting could have an impact.

This is not a medical test but more of a gauge, and given the fact that it's simply calling things as yo see them there is no diminished accuracy of the score by taking the test multiple times.

I guess proof of that fact is, I changed my monitor's auto setting from "internet" to "game" and I got a perfect score.
