Strong rumours saying Mark is going to Ferrari next year as a stop gap till they take Perez. Some sources say the deal is done.

Spanky mentioned it in another thread, but really hope there is substance in this one. Would like to see Mark racing another year...and this leaves a very interesting vacant spot in Redbull. :scratchchin:

Setting aside my dislike for Ferrari, I feel this would be a step backwards for Mark Webber, I would think that Red Bull would be wise to hang onto Mark for another year!

Yeah it'll be interesting to see Vergne or Ricciardo in a very quick car! They've both shown glimpses of strong talent this season IMO.

Red Bull looking to promote young drivers Daniel Ricciardo or Jean-Eric Vergne

Sounds like they're happy to have a wingman for Vettel rather than put another champion in the car.Not saying either of those drivers aren't up to the job, everyone starts somewhere.Just on paper looks a naff signing.Sure others would like to see Lewis or Kimi there for example.

If he doesn't like it when Seb gets treated as a number one then why the hell would he go to Fernari?

Finnish his career with a pile of cash?

No I dont think it will be them...way too soon. Oops, don't get me wrong...I wasn't hinting about Hamilton moving there. Just a very quick top seat to be taken up by a very lucky individual. I don't see Hamilton in Redbull while Golden boy Vettel is sitting high on Markos and Horners shoulders. :P

Can't wait to hear Marks response to 'Fernando is faster than you, can you confirm you understood that message?'

Or maybe Danish his career or Swedish it? :P

If Mark's career was starting to look shaky last year with Red Bull, then it'll be over if he sets foot in Maranello.
