Ian Brady, together with his partner Myra Hindley murdered five children in the early 1960s and buried their bodies on Saddleworth Moor, which is located just outside Manchester. The murders became known widely as The Moors Murders, and remain one of the UK's most prolific crimes. Both were jailed for life, with Myra Hindley having died in 2002, aged 60.
Ian Brady, after being diagnosed as a psychopath in 1985, was transferred Ashworth High Security Mental Hospital. He is on hunger-strike, but is being force fed via tubes into his body. It is Brady's wish to be allowed to return to a normal gaol and be allowed to die.
What do we think about this? Bearing in mind that one of the murdered children, Keith Bennett, is STILL buried somewhere on the moors, unable to be found. If Brady dies, his secrets will be taken to the grave.

Moors murderer Ian Brady will face a public hearing on whether he should be returned to prison. Brady has been detained at Ashworth hospital since 1985. In August 2010, Brady made a request that a review into where he is imprisoned be open to the public. It is only the second mental health tribunal hearing to be held in public. A judge granted permission in October, but it can only now be reported. The date of Brady's hearing is yet to be set.
