I think that Sutil will be a great prospect for the future, he will keep on improving and I do hope that he'll have successful seasons to come...with another team of course! :wink:

What's to stop Spyker form eventually becoming the dominant team? They all had to start somewhere. They could even supply their own engines, being a road car manufacturer themselves. If they hang in there and the top 9 teams leave F1 in one of their droughts, It can happen.

I know they can be mucking around with the big boys in many years to come, but I think they will most likely languish at the back. May have flashes of brillance but not enough.

i thought Spyker used AUDI engines for their road cars? their not that big a company but if they team up with say Audi/ VW they could get the financial backing they need to compete but who knows whats going to happen in the years to come with all the rule changes planned.

Thats a good point, I'm sure BE would love to entice VW in to F1 too!

Very few car makers use their own engines.

And mos that do are parts of families of car makers who share engines.
