I'm in this situation where I've resigned from my organization and have to serve 1 1/2 months notice with my last day being a month from now. I have around 12 medical leaves remaining and need to utilize at least 3-4 in this time frame...but wondering what are your best reasons to stay at home and get paid?

Problem with me is I hardly make use of this as first of all, I am happy with work and also the fact that I suck at making excuses...my best is food poisoning but how many episodes of that can you have in a year? Advice I get from around is headache (super lame), gastric issues (in the morning? really?)....there's gotta be more!

I'm now at a point where I dont care even if my employer thinks I am making it up as I'm out and provided a better offer elsewhere....but I'd like to still keep them in the 'dark' rather than certain of my intent.

Sorry, I wasn't very clear. When I said 3-4 days I meant on separate days, they don't have to be at one go.

Some nice suggestions there, but the thing is I need the doc to believe me and give me the damn mc....many suggestions here are difficult to 'create'. For example, food poisoning and headaches don't leave much 'signs' so the doc has little choice but to hand you the letter.

Migraine - I've never had this before...what are the symptoms? I might use this.
