i played the demo a few times and i was shocked..just watch the warmth that causes the refraction of the light over the exhausts!!

playability good, but one thing was made not good: the hud (that it's the same of the reality) covers the mirrors so you always have to switch the camera back to see what happens behind you!

in the demo there aren't the pitstops, i would have liked to see how they maked them!

The graphics look awesome, but what's the playability like?

do you mean for rookies to advanced? it has all the driving aids of the last couple of F1 games by studio liverpool, so you dont need to have a super licence to play. the physics and handling are excellenet.
with the sixaxxis controller you can even physically turn the controller and steer the car!

I went out and paid $600 for the PS3, $149 for the PSP, $49 for the PSP memory card, $60 dollar for the game and found out that Sony decided not to include that feature yet. They demo the "remote play" or "rear mirror" featured a year ago at the PS3 intro and a year later, they haven't released the software update to link up the PSP to the PS3 for this feature. I posted a question on this subjet at the Sony PS3 forum, what I got was a bunch of nasty name callings and they don't allowed anything negative about Sony, here's a link to what was asked.. http://boardsus.playstation.com/playsta ... d.id=56763 . The adm. was nice enough to delete some nasty replies to me. Do I regret getting the game, no F1 Championship Edition is AWESOME (I have all the versions including PC) and its the best on ever made. Pitstops is awesome and they even have podium presentation.

You also get to drive a parade lap warm up you tires before the start, don't wrm them up enough and you won't have much grip the first lap. Just like in real life, passing is extremely hard. 22 other cars will compete for the same corner and none will move out of the way and others will block you or force you into the grass. If you lose a front or rear wing, your downforce will be affected and so is your top speed. Make a mistake and you will be forced to retire. Also, they have all the qualifcations before the race with each section divided into 15mins. If you make a mistake in any of the stages and damage the car, you will lost valuble time in the garage for repairs. Replays are jaw dropping awesome. While racing, listen to the commentary or you pit crew they will alert to incidents around the track, pause the game and switch over to reply and look for the driver of that incident and just sit back and enjoy seeing bits/pieces of carbon fiber and wheels flying. The rain effect is awesome and when you are doing about 180mph, the car in front of you may blown and engine, just close your eyes because you are pretty much blind. JUST GET THE GAME SISSY. Here's some info on it.

^wow, I never realised Sony forum members are such bigots.

I haven't played the game but I have seen videos and it looks awesome. PS3 costs $1000 down here so I don't think I'll be trying it out anytime soon.

Ouch, it's like everyone on that Sony forum got out of the wrong side of bed that day, which leads me to question whether they were sleeping in the same bed?!

PS3 is too overpriced here, something like £400 (was more but they can't shift them for love nor money)! However, I would love to hook the thing up to my new 1080p LCD, the Wii looks awesome with component input, but that's only 480i/p.

In my opinion the Super Nintendo was the best console system of all. Well done madbrad. What are the F1 games you have?

F1ROC and something with Mansell, I forget the name.
Funny thig is F1roc is based on the 92 season and all the names are correct except for Senna which says Seta, because he had an exclusive deal with some other game manufacturer, and I don't think there was a Super Nintendo version of that.

The Mansell one has Mansell telling you what to do at every turn, but you can turn that off. It's more accurate. Also 92 season.

With the commentary on, how do they refer to your car? Is it just like, 'the second Renault'?
