You are permitted to choose any of the twelve teams competing in the 2011 Formula One Racing Season.
Budget
You have a starting budget of 100 credits to buy the packages and drivers listed below.
Drivers
You must buy two drivers when joining the game. You must also choose which of the drivers will be your first driver, ideally the one with a higher overall rating. Just because a driver has a high overall rating and a low price doesn't mean that they are the best choice. Any young driver could turn out to be a racing legend some day. Below is a list of drivers with price (will be taken away from your starting budget), rating, salary (will be subtracted from your team's funds at the end of each season), name, and age.
Staff Packages
Although the drivers are the center of attention, the team staff do most of the work off the track. Here you can buy staff packages with your remaining starting budget, but keep in mind that there is still a car package section as well. You may only buy one package.
Car Packages
The final thing you will spend your money on is a car. Here you can buy car packages with your remaining starting budget. You may only buy one package.
Sponsors
Every team will get one credit per race from a sponsor.
Points System
Prize Money
Your team gets three credits for a one-two finish, two credits if one driver wins (regardless of where your other driver finishes), and one credit if both drivers finish in the top ten, but neither win.
Race Weekend
Race weekends consist of practice, qualifying, and the race. Practice and qualifying results will be posted on the forum after simulation, but the race will be live, with updates coming every 20% of the race distance. You do not have to do anything prior to races.
