Rubens Barrichello is currently in his 19th season of F1. If he's back next year, that'll make it 20 unbroken years of participation in F1. He's already got the records for the total number of entries/starts in F1. But 20 years in F1 without a break would be incredible.

I hope that Barrichello will get this record. I really hope to see him next season, IMO is much better a 40 years old driver who won a few races in the past than a 20 years old driver who comes with a lot of sponsor... :)

I'm not sure to be honest. I mean, he's hardly had a good season - Maldonado is arguably starting to outperform him and has been the one who has shone more with some very strong qualifying showings (Silverstone, Monaco, Spain) and that excellent but unfortunate drive in Monaco. There's a lot of very strong drivers who don't have drives at the moment and someone could easily end up taking his seat to accomodate one of them. Big rumour going around that Renault may offer some sort of deal to get Grosjean in the seat...
