I know its dated. But i think it should be compulsory reding for all political leaders or armed forces people(high up ones) I cant stop thinking about it. Has anyone else read it?

Yes, I have read it and it sends a powerful message. in my opinion, the book does a much better job of conveying the despair and futility of mankind's last days, than the movie.

I believe it was Einstein who once stated.. ” I know not with what weapons World War III will be fought, but World War IV will be fought with sticks and stones.”.

Can't say that I have. I doubt I would have the attention span for something deep, meaningful and factual. Maybe later in life once I am less easily distrac..........

Sorry, I drifted off there. :hehe: Anyway, I would probably make a point to start reading books of this nature later in life once I am not so easily distracted and more likely to read regularly. Thanks for the heads-up.

What I have been ploughing through are the original James Bond books by Ian Flemming. Far better than the films and very readable.

So that's my contribution to the Formula1.com book club. :D
