So, browsing the various news sites this morning whilst avoiding doing any work on my projects, I came across this article. It's the first I've heard of it, haven't even come across any rumours that circuit owners might even consider doing this, but it would be pretty scary if it was to happen.

) the way that the detractors of the new engine formula are complaining about engines not sounding 'like F1' without actually knowing what the engine will sound like. If the technical working group get their way and engines rev upto 15,000rpm; they will still sound very impressive allied to the big turbocharger that will be bolted on. I would rather have a change in formula than stick with the current stagnant V8s that never fail, I want engineers pushing the boundaries and spectacular engine failures back.
