The flamboyant Eddie Irvine is well known for his big opinions that he occasionally lets rip with, and here's some more about Lewis Hamilton, Michael Schumacher and the current crop of the drivers in general.

Former Ferrari driver Eddie Irvine has criticised Lewis Hamilton's recent on- and off-track behaviour. The Northern Irishman said: "I'm a genuine Lewis fan - he's the only guy in F1 at the moment worth watching - but I think he's lost the plot. I don't think he's surrounded by the best people he could be, and I think he's lost respect for the other drivers." Irvine added that his former team-mate Michael Schumacher "has just lost his talent".

As much as I like Irvine, when it comes to the statement that he's the only guy in F1 at the moment worth watching, I must say I seriously disagree.

Agree for the most part, Hamilton really isnt surrounded by the best people, and that stupid stupid move to get someone like simon fueller to be your manager  that bloke is only interested in making money out of you, you know how simon cowells face lights up when he sees a 10 year old girl sing opera on tv, cause hes thinking of the dollars. Not to mention you spent the time after your crash inviting the entire world of hip-hop music into the garage much to the obvious dismay of Whitmarsh.

Lewis needs to sort himself out and everyone but him knows it. Not his on track dirving, hell no, never change that Lewis and be proud of it, but his off track life is embaressing and immature.

Hes dead right with Schumacher too, legend, but he is too old, sure he can qualify around abouts what the cars giving him, but hes an old man now and has lost that edge. Not to mention this younguns couldnt care less about going toe-to-toe with him, and that won him a lot in his earlier career.

Hopefully Lewis has had enough time to clear his head before the grid lines up in Valencia. Niki Lauda and Eddie Irvine will have a field day if he knackers it again.

After Montreal, people assumed that Schumacher was gaining competitiveness again. But it's only one race. 4th place was bettered by Nelson Piquet Jr. back in the 2008 German Grand Prix (with 2nd!!!), and look how much of a flop he turned out to be. At least he's closer to Rosberg on points this time round................

Lewis is at one of the best teams with new high profile management I don't know who Eddie is referring too. I don't know maybe he is referring to his celebrity friends. Don't know don't care, Eddies just another has been putting his 2 cents in. It's always the same Lewis has two bad results and his life and career are in turmoil. Only driver that seems to attract that other than Schumacher who had people waiting in the wings for any slip up to jump in and have a stab! Hey Eddie atleast Schumacher is out there, id like to see you out there that's if you could fit in an F1 car still!

Well the thing is if this was 2008/7 id say, thats typical Lewis, he has a solid run of astounding races, then does something i wouldnt expect myself to do should i be in F1 :hehe:

But!.....The worry this year, is that its more to it then a bad race, his attitude is deteriorating and the people he hangs out of are total wrong un's. He also seems despite it being totally free choice, and the fact that hes actually as much white as he is black that hes way more interested in "big pimpin'" then he is in his f1 career, that is a genuine worry(theres no racial conflict in what i said by the way and its far from the focal point of my post, i am an avid supporter of both anti-racism an multiculturalism). If Ron Dennis was there this'd never of happened cause hed bollock Lewis like a madman.

He split with his Dad for 2010
He got a money-grabbing whore as a manager
He invites an entire music genre to his garage after a dismal performance.

Sort yourself out mate please. It makes me angry how your throwing away this oppurtunity.

He has had music star attend races since his rookie year fraf, I don't see this as anything to do with a. Causing his Monaco qualifying bad luck or b. His touch with Jenson.

It's all very dramatic to make these claims but like I said two poor performances and people jump on it!

Not in 2007, arguably his best year, he was practically a whipped schoolboy in comparison.

And music star attending races is one thing, a whole crowd at every race is another.

He seems much more interested to me, in being a celebrity then a racing driver. Itd be a total crying shame if he were to finish his career with that one wdc cause hes interested in the money/fame side of things.

You cant deny theres evidence to support thats the case in the very least. Im genuinely worried.

But Ron Dennis is there. He's often in the garage at races, and he's still a central figurehead at McLaren in general.

Not in 2007 he was a whipped school boy referred to? Were you even watching f1 then ? I remember muso's coming to visit at the US GP.
As for your every race comment that's bs, again you're making accusations that have no affect on his driving. I personally couldn't care who his friends are. They didn't stop him winning china a few races ago but because of two poor results you're reaching.

Nicole Sherzinger is often in the garage at races...........

Hes there cause he runs Mclaren Automotive.

The racing side is up to Whitmarsh now. And he lets Hamilton do what he wants, which he shouldnt, cause he goes off the rails.

Nicole is his girlfriend, every drivers girlfriend is with them. Is there something wrong with Jensons model gf accompanying him? Or Fernandos Spanish celebrity wife accompanying him? Fraf sometimes you come up with some doozies and then just argue for the sake of arguing it seems. You need to chillax.

Calling what is my thoughts bullpoo, and then telling me i didnt watch the 2007 season, then telling me i made accusations. Then telling me im only saying this based on two races.

Again, im not discussing it anymore now ive told you what ive found insulting, unless you can accept what you said can be taken as offensive?
#262256
You yourself have said in the past you only just started watching F1 so for you to make judgments on something you never watched first hand is not an exact science. And for you to come out and have a cry about insults is hilarious. Youre always involved in arguemnts with every user on here. And you gotta expect it if you make outrageous accusations, resulting in someone calling it BS, if you cant handle that then dont post simple.
