Haha, i love this bloke. Some of you might have seen this vid, it's doing the rounds at the moment.

Massive respect to him for calling out jobsworth idiot cops in an amusing way like that. It's like an old Jackass stunt or something.

a law enforcement officer not being clear on the law he was enforcing? I loved the guy, look that guy is double parked, you're not giving him a ticket. NY, NY it's a hellofatown

I'd actually read an article a few days ago... about that very topic, here's the law's summary. The point was that it's easier to ticket the cyclist rather than fix the core issue.

There is some ambiguity about what exactly is legal when riding a bike. In a summary of New York City's bicycle laws, rules and regulations, the New York City Department of Transportation says that "Bicycle riders must use bike path/lane, if provided, except for access, safety, turns, etc." But it also says that there is "No parking, standing or stopping vehicles within or otherwise obstructing bike lanes."
Regardless whether or not the police officer was justified in giving Neistat his ticket, he certainly accomplished his goal of making a hilarious video about the perils of New York City's bike lanes.

I have dreams of riding a bike like this sometimes... and I don't play bike or skateboard titles on PS3..
