Can i ask, and i dont mean to sound disprespectful, nor is it my intention.

But given AKR your from Slovenia, and Vlad Bosnia/Herezegovnia, theres a lot of scepticism here in the UK (to those people that care obviously)

That countries with such similiar ancestory and culture, Germany/Austria France/Belgium etc, Russia/Slavic statesis there a lot of "bloc" voting where you guys are, that is, just vting for the next nearest country in terms of similarity, history and geography.

It's a common thing nowdays, I don't like it, but that's just how things work today... Anyway, we all know who stands behind Eurovision, so...

:yikes: Eurovision 2011 already?

Been and gone; Azerbaijan won it with "Running Scared", the UK did 10 times better than last year but still finished 11th.

The voting system in Eurovision is rigged. There is really no need to explain it and no offence taken. This song I like was sung in Serbian (Which is the same language essentially as Croatian) which I speak because my mother is a Croat. I admit that because she sang it in Serbo-Croatian that it gave me a better feeling to the song which I did also love. However I have heard the English version and to me it does not have the same feeling. This is why I do not like when they sing in English (Except Britain and Ireland of course). I was very disappointed at the Croatian, Bosnian and Slovene singers for singing in English. I was further disapointed at Italy for singing half English and half Italian (Italy came second).

The Greek song I enjoyed as it was mostly Greek and allowed me to feel the Greek connection/culture to it. The French one was actually in Corsican which I as well loved and could mostly understand as Corsican is very, very similar to Italian which is my first language. :)
