Hey,

I was justing wondering what everybodies option is on the idea of Red Bull introducing another racing team into the F1 circuit. This a hypothetical idea that I was interested in writing an assignment on it and wanted to see what everybody else thought about the idea.

Cheers

Team Rote Stier?

My first thought is that it would not be good for the sport. I'm honestly surprised the're allowed to own even two teams. The line has to be drawn somewhere - it's not like we want to see a field of only Red Bull cars.

It'd be unnecessary. Why bother when they are already winning with their current main team?

If it aint broken dont fix it! Another team with the "Red Bull" brand will take away important resources from STR and mainly RBR. Red Bull would not want to risk any championships. Red Bull could easily make STR stronger too, but they dont because they would mean they would take important resources from Red Bull. RBR is there to challenge/win titles for Red Bull. STR is there to blood drivers for the next RBR era. Red Bull have the perfect setup! So need to wreck it!

Ferrari also blood new drivers though via Sauber and Mercedes the same with Force India. However this is different because Ferrari don't control Sauber and Merc dont control Force India unlike Red Bull which controls both RBR and STR

Formula 1 is covered. They're better of spending their money to sponsor other things like futbol, oh wait. Mmm off road racing.. oops. Let's see Air racing, scratch that. OH WRC... sorry. Wait give me a minute, I'll think of something. Oh yeah, Skiing, snowboarding, a stadium, Motocross... nope. nope. nope. nope.

I'm sorry I give up, but I'm currently working on getting Red Bull to sponsor my 8 year old niece's girl scout club, I think my chances of getting them to agree are pretty good!

Just be thankful warren buffet or gates don't get into racing. If you had a team owner when the business attitude they have, they would look at the field and say, well, I can pay for X teams, and have Y chance of winning, sweet, drop some billions. The Red Bull owner is rich, but he isn't that rich.

That's because adrenaline junkies are THE target audience, the ones most likely to become addicted to their junk. :hehe:
