Nirvana is not hardcore at all, hardcore was like metal school for bands just starting out in the 80s. Dinosaur Jr are my favourite from the old college rock set

EASILY Nirvana. Foo Fighters are kinda just a stadium fodder sort of band these day. I like them but Nirvana had something else.

I could write an entire essay on that question, two of my all time favourite bands without a doubt. I honestly couldn't bring myself to say one over the other. Dave Grohl is GOD either way!
