Nirvana is not hardcore at all, hardcore was like metal school for bands just starting out in the 80s. Dinosaur Jr are my favourite from the old college rock set

Nirvana are good yes. Though I still prefer Bowie's version of man who sold the world.

EASILY Nirvana. Foo Fighters are kinda just a stadium fodder sort of band these day. I like them but Nirvana had something else.
