A slightly stale opening practice session, I suppose they all are now though.

Badoer seems to be finding his feet very slowly. Grosjean looks quite strong, but he already knows the circuit so he doesn't have any issues there.

McLaren look fast, and appear to be Kovalainen as much as possible.

This is HIS big chance. Blow it now and he'll probably be staring at the exit door.

I think at the moment the three strongest teams seem to be Brawn, McLaren and Red Bull all seem to be going well. Alguersuari and Grosjean are doing well but Luca really needs to up his game he is well off the pace. Looks like Toyota are going to have an extremely bad weekend.

Toyota have been traditionally slow on Fridays, so I wouldn't rule them out yet. Sure they aren't a front running team now, but they certainly won't be as plum-last.
